Cotabato Light and the Aboitiz Foundation officially turned over the Public Senior High School Financial Assistance Program to 20 exceptional Grade 11 students.






In a significant step toward supporting education and empowering the youth, the Cotabato Light & Power Company and Aboitiz Foundation Inc., formally turned over the Public Senior High School Financial Assistance Program to twenty deserving Grade 11 scholars. The turnover ceremony was held at the Cotabato Light conference room on December 20, 2024. 


The financial assistance program, aimed at alleviating the financial burden on students from underprivileged backgrounds, ensures that the recipients can focus on their studies without worrying about tuition, school supplies, or other educational needs. Each scholar will receive a stipend of Php10,000 per year.


Engr. Anthony M. Bueno, Admin Support Group Head expressed the program’s importance during the event: “This initiative is a testament to our commitment to education as the cornerstone of community development. We believe that by investing in our youth, we are securing a brighter future for our society.”


One of the scholars, Krischelle Manuel, shared their heartfelt gratitude: “This program is more than just financial assistance; it’s a lifeline for students like me to achieve our dreams and contribute meaningfully to society. I am deeply thankful for this opportunity.”
